I was just telling someotherguy that any work or effort that goes into having the Friday Thing (and any ulterior motives of mine that are fulfilled by it) is worth it when it yields such a nice evening with such a lovely member of our new community.

tenacious_snail is a delight on so many levels. She is gracious about being interrupted by me. She is articulate and a really good communicator, and I think she appreciates that I appreciate that. She's funny in ways that I like. I often feel I can really understand the way she thinks, and I feel safe telling her that I think she's gorgeous but I'm not hitting on her. I have had probably a dozen conversations with her since we met, and I've thoroughly enjoyed every one.
