Music reclaimed

I have started a little project.

I don't have much extra money, but I've decided that when I do have a few bucks to spend on something frivolous, I will start replenishing the music I lost in the divorce. There's stuff I've been missing for two years, and I want it back in my life. (Other stuff, I'm not ready to hear again. I still can't listen to Norah Jones.)

Anyway, "Court and Spark" arrived yesterday. I listened to it twice, and it gave me such joy that I just had to tell someone. Not bittersweet joy, not joy-mixed-with-pain, but just pure joy. Joni can do that to a person.

well it will shock you not at all to learn that i am doing this too, albeit differently.

the CDs she took were mostly her CDs and mostly, i am okay with not listening to them although i liked them. the CDs of mine that developed associations with her, though....

well those have need some work--let's just say that. fortunately i play lots of music when i have visitors and new associations are being created.
