serenequick post. busy day.
mom left this morning with mte. she accidentally went north on the 5 and ended up in sacramento. the poor dear was on the road for 12 hours before finally getting home.
dinner was fun. food made from the leftovers of the food mom cooked while she was here (she also bought us hundreds of dollars' worth of groceries, so we're still weeks away from an empty fridge, bless her heart): "fried rice" with oyster sauce, onions, and a slice of corned beef all chopped up; the rest of the asparagus, brie, and goat cheese omelet from breakfast (I cooked that); strawberries and grapes; and a pasta dish of fresh italian-sausage tortellini, pepperoni, salami, and mozzarella with some greens thrown in. It was weird, but yummy.
Then. *THEN*. While we were watching Torch Song Trilogy (we worked kinda hard today moving some of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sogwife's stuff, so I wanted to watch a movie), someotherguy made us some Mexican hot chocolate, which he doesn't like. Just for us. Mmmmmmmm.
(Oh, and in the replacing-CDs project, I have just acquired "Blue". Mmmmmmmm again.)
