I am living free of big goals at the moment. My life is pretty much as I like it, so I'm riding the wave right now. Oh, wait -- I want health insurance. :-)

We've both been posters on alt.poly for years, so I knew him in the periphery for a long time and then one day I clicked on his weblink and read a bunch of stuff on his website. He seemed both fascinating and a bit down-in-the-dumps, which he is. :-) I wrote to him what I thought was a cheering email; we exchanged lots and lots and lots of email over the next few months, and we met in person after we already knew we loved each other.
8. What are a few things that just plain make you happy?
The nasturtium vinesomeotherguy picked for the last Friday Thing, that is still blooming on the coffee table.
Walking on park benches, elevated curbs, and other balance-beam-like things.
Reading really good writing.
9. Why are you hating work today?
Bleah. There's a lot of drama going on there, and since I'm the temp, I really shouldn't be affected by it, but it's affecting me, because they keep moving my schedule around, and the logistics of my job keep changing, and yesterday the office manager (my direct supervisor) told me she's quitting. Lots of turmoil there. I wanna switch jobs, but I'm gonna hang on for a bit more because I love the schedule.
