You will work on a global team to support, sell and market software used by hundreds of thousands of individuals and businesses. We expect you to work effectively with our customers to help evolve Six Apart's products.
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
Ability to learn. Candidate must show they can adapt to the rapidly changing weblogging landscape. Ability to communicate. Candidate must show that they can express ideas with elegance and flair. Mature writing ability. Candidate must be able to respond appropriately to potential and current customer inquiries. You will spend a significant portion of time answering sales and product questions over email. Flexibility. Candidate must be comfortable with the pace of a small-sized company. Other required skills:
Four year degree or equivalent industry experience. Previous experience in customer support, preferably for a high volume web site. Strong ability to solve problems with creative solutions. Team player mentality. Prior experience with Microsoft Word and Exchange. Prior experience with and excitement for weblogs. Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques. Pluses:
