So I don't have to go to work until the 11th, but I'm employed. Staying home guilt-free? What a concept!
I start Ikea on Saturday. I fly to San Diego the following Tuesday for a couple of days. (Mom sprang for the tickets because she rocks.) Life has been such a challenge this last month that I wish I could tell you what a relief it's been to be truly happy for three or four days in a row. Thanks to everyone who's been there for me. Thanks to everyone who has offered (and given) practical help, a shoulder, or an email inbox. I love you all.
Now I'm off to get drug-tested for the new job. Joy.

Date: 2005-06-06 07:16 pm (UTC)Boo! Drug test. (Sometimes I hate being stuck in a culture that includes such a fucked up sense of necessity and appropriateness.)
Yay! Guilt-free time off!

Going out of town next week, and then I'll send you email and we can hook up. *hugs*
(Oh, and yesterday I was looking through the cookbook you gave me, and it made me all happy.)
