Working today

sereneUCB called me in again. So no day off this week. Not until Tuesday, of course unless they need me then, too. I feel okay about it. More money, more time at a job I like, and Ikea hours get cut this week, so I should be able to survive intact.

tenacious_snail delighted us with her presence last night. I always talk over her, but we have fun chatting about every imaginable tangent. And we had yummy food, and I got her addicted to my latest snack addiction, the spicy rice crackers from the Berkeley Bowl bulk department.
Oh, and my sweet boy helped with cleaning up and cooking, and then did all the dishes right after dinner, so I still have a clean house. Helpful sweeties rock. (And sweeties who let one ravish them the minute the guest leaves ain't so bad, neither.)
