Y'all are probably getting tired of my "yay, I have a day off" posts, but they're rare, and so they're deeply exciting to me. :-) No Ikea today, no UC Berkeley, no need to leave the house if I don't wanna.

So far today, I have eaten, played around online, talked to my darling on the phone, and eaten some more. (I did a few dishes, too, go me.) If I get nothing else done today, that's fine. If I manage to putter around and get some stuff done at a slow pace, cool.

Plan to go to Nomad tonight and see a spoken-word thing. No other plans for the day, and I like it that way.

I know! Why didn't someone tell me that winter starts in August? I can bring you a change of clothes, love. It would be no trouble at all -- have no other plans, as you know.

I like your "I have a day off" posts, because I like the way you talk about the things you spend your free time on. You always manage to remind me what a treat the mundanities of day-to-day life can be.
