it's a go!

I'm very very excited. The owner of Nomad is way cool, and has a great
vision for spoken-word nights at the cafe. I'm gonna run most of them
until I find people to take over some Thursdays. I work this Thursday,
but I'm gonna get Thursday nights off (and offer my boss some more of my
time in exchange -- he's been wanting me to take more hours) and do it!

Next things to do: Pick a name (tres importante), get some features lined
up, do massive advertising, decide on format, find other hosts. Not
necessarily in that order.

Spoken word in North Oakland. Yay! (There's already a slam up the street
on Wednesdays, but this will be free spoken word that's not a slam, and
I'm so looking forward to it.)
