Highlights of the week for me so far (this is not my full con report, it's
my up-too-early-might-as-well-post post).

* Finding out that a long (8.5 hours) drive with stonebender and
loracs and someotherguy is fun, relaxing, and easy.
We haven't taken a long trip together before, and even the overloaded van
that kept hitting the road didn't make it a stressy trip.

* Shopping with my mom and someotherguy for consuite food and
five-dollar clothes. They are my comfort zone, and between the drive and
the shopping trip, I was completely relaxed and ready to face the weekend.

* stonebender's fun and funny intro panel, where we learned
about hobbitbabe's powers, and lcohen's loose lips,
and leback's kink, and U's strange compulsions, and the location
where ryks and hobbitbabe stashed P's body (*waves to
P -- I missed you!*) -- or at least that's the way I remember it.

* Long walks with someotherguy, sometimes in the light rain
(yay!), sometimes taking along other fun people.

* Watching the boats with stonebender. He lights up for any
kind of exciting transportation: Boats, rocket ships, hot air balloons...
and I just adore his enthusiasm so much.

* Lounging in the *bathtub!* (we don't have one at home) while someotherguy washed my hair.

* "Wow, can you believe the energy in this room?"

* Having lcohen beam smiles (and injokes) out of the back of her
head at me and kicking her ass.

* The real listening that went on at the Community panel -- brooksmoses was a real class act.

* The peaceful and fun atmo in the consuite, especially the bedroom.

* Dinner at my favorite (and most-missed) Mexican place with people I love
and people I barely know -- it was a lovely time.

* Fun reactions to my see-through clothes.

* The two or three minutes of alone-time I got to spend with firecat before more people showed up.

* Watching people I know turn into flirting machines. Con magic?

* Oh, and the orgies. Oh, the orgies. What can I possibly say? Oh, man.
Words fail me.

I went to panels, and there's another one today, before the Decadent
Brunch, to which I'm of course looking forward, but mostly I've just been
enjoying the gentle hanging-out time. I doubt anyone will be surprised by
that.
