Super tired (nothing new) and very low motivation to do much of anything, which works out because it's a slow day at work today.

Checked out the Python site for a while today, and most of it was gibberish. firecat may be able to help me there.

Tonight's reading should be mellow and, I hope, fun. Come!

Work is good, life is good, and I'm really eager to get some of my time back. Nine more days!

Dive Into Python (http://diveintopython.org/getting_to_know_python/index.html) is probably a much better starting point than python.org. The link I've given skips some introductory material which I don't think you need to worry about initially.

Dive Into Python is a good reference, I gather (I haven't gone through the whole thing myself). Also here are a couple of others you might find of interest:

Next to none. I did some BASIC in my childhood, and other than that, hand-coding HTML is the extent of my programming knowledge. I'm a complete and utter noob.
