My new chafing dish has corrupted me

Me, to someotherguy in the store, while I heft six pounds of
brie: "Honey, do you think this is enough?"

Him, wide-eyed: "Um, yes. Yes, I do."

Mmmmmm, brie with cranberries and walnuts. I predict I will not be hungry
once dinnertime rolls around.

One who doesn't eat cow's milk, and one child who probably won't want it. Oh, and I misspoke. Twelve guests plus me. So eleven who will potentially eat it, but I will eat twice my share to make the math easier, 'kay? :-)

(By the way, my first thought when I posted the previous comment was to do the math, as I'm sure will not surprise you. :-)

Okay, I can't imagine eating anywhere near a half pound of brie along with all the other stuff you're making! I anticipate plenty of leftovers.

Thank you! Yeah, I will probably have lots left over, but I was trying to guesstimate how much would fit nicely in my new chafing dish, and better to overshoot than under-. Oh, and it was cheap. :-)
