1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Helped run a con.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for
next year?
I don't make them, but I did some things I wanted to do, and I got better
at some things I wanted to get better at.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I'm not close to my sister-out-law, but she did give birth. Also, one of
my oldest friends.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Two people I love had miscarriages. Other than that, no.
5. What countries did you visit?
Only the one I live in: the US.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
More time with my partners and friends.
7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? May
1st began a really hard summer for me, but I plan to un-etch it from my
memory. No one died, and everyone still loves everyone, so letting it go
is a really good idea.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Landing a couple of satisfying contract editing gigs.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not rescuing the Munchkins from their difficult home situation.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Many minor ones. Nothing major.

Right now, it feels like
loracs's xmas present. I'll tell in
email if anyone wants, because she doesn't know what it's gonna be.

Food and household bills. Not much left after that this year, but the

My orphans' thanksgiving.

Hard to say. This time last year, I was still recovering from a car
accident, but I had a settlement check in my pocket.

Boring answer, but I think it was my general tendency toward staying sane.
