My week has been alternately good and shitty.

The shitty:

My mom is going through a really rough time and I am feeling helpless. This is practically all I can think about.
I haven't had the emotional energy to clean my house, so I walk in the house and don't feel peaceful because it's not clean. This I'm actually
dealing with well, by reminding myself that my home is there for my comfort, not to make me feel bad, so I talked myself out of feeling bad last night and today, and tonight and tomorrow I will have the time to gently get it back the way I want it.
We can't use the shower because the pump broke.

The good:

My foot no longer hurts. At *all*. It's been *months* since I could walk with no pain. This totally rocks.
I had a lovely day with stonebender yesterday. We watched *eight* episodes of Firefly. We're now done with the series, and we'll watch Serenity next time.
The shower thing hasn't affected the rest of the plumbing system.
My mom is doing the hard things she needs to do to make her life better. (Still, I'm worried and scared, and I want to wave a magic wand and make it all better for her.)
