I actually don't fool myself into believing any of my interests is unique, but I'll be interested to see if anyone comments on this one with "I have that!"

*Name a CD you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:*

First Lady and the Tramp, by Capitol Steps

*Name a book you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:*

Desperados, a role-playing game that [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy wrote.

*Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:*

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

*Name a place that you have visited that you think no-one else on your friendslist has:*

Jerez, Spain

*Name a piece of technology or any sort of tool you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist has:*

We're torn on this: Jackhammer Jesus? Stovetop popcorn popper? Saddle stapler? Cold toddy brewer? Electronic candy thermometer? I can't think of a gadget/tool that I might have that others don't, because my friends are gadget-mad geeks!

Got that saddle stapler. And I'm pretty sure I went through Jerez on our whirlwind tour of the south coast of Spain when I was there a couple years back with [livejournal.com profile] brian1789 and [livejournal.com profile] patgreene. We certainly didn't stay to look at anything, though, as I think it was after dark by the time we were driving through. And although we don't own that particular Capitol Steps album, we do own Lord of the Fries... :^D

Durn. I've got a /different/ Capitol Steps album.

(And I've been to Jerez, but a) I was in 8th grade at the time, and b) miserable sick from food poisoning, so I didn't really /see/ any of it.)

Missed it by that much....

Does it actually make it worse if I have the popcorn popper, and it's kept at [livejournal.com profile] kightp's place? It makes it a poly popcorn popper, I suppose.

Those popcorn poppers... there are two of those popcorn poppers out there. One's made of tinfoil and the stirrer is made of beading wire and the cranky thing is appropriately named (insofar as it's frequently cranky). The other is made of decent, sufficiently heavy metal, has an actual stirrer paddle, that is well and truly connected to a solid crank.
