Feeling better. Took a nap, ate yummy food, and hours later, still feeling good, if tired again. Gonna go get some sleep and see how it goes.

Watched Mystery Men for about the sixth time, and realized it's the first time I've managed to keep from falling asleep halfway in. From the time they meet the Sphinx to the end? That's first-time viewing for me tonight. :-)

We've been watching lots of fun old bad movies lately, too: White Zombie, with Bela Lugosi. The Last Man on Earth, with Vincent Price. Achingly, beautifully bad. Just cringingly. Love every minute. (We found a collection of 17 movies for $8.99 recently, and we're only up to number 6 or 7. At one a day, we have another week and a half to find something new to watch. ;-)

Tomorrow, I'm all about the jobhunt. Wish me luck.

One of the best things of incorporating some one new into your life, is that you get to share movies and music. Our musical choice is pretty much the same, but HMM shows us 'his' movies and we show him 'ours'. Last night we watched Chocolat. For HMM the first time, for me 3rd or 4th, Kees knows both the book and the movie by heart I think :)

Which Chocolat? The African one, or the Johnny Depp one?

I have no idea how it got to be 1am, honest! I'm off to bed as soon as my wife gives up the bathroom. ;-)

The Johnny Depp one. And there was some debate on his casting for this role. He's not really a 'rambler' now is he? We'd like to have seen some one more suited to the role. Banderas maybe?

And as on command: tonight on Dutch TV: Pirates of the Caribean. I'm curious what HMM thinks of that one. I think it's great fun! I'll tape it, since Kees is going to his parents to pick up my BIL and HMM has a billiard match.

O... and goog luck on the job hunt!

Glad you are feeling better

That's pretty funny if Mystery Men had been a sure-fire way to get yourself to fall asleep.

Your old movies give me a flashback to the days (which maybe continue -- I have no idea) of just no end of random odd science fiction and horror and so on movies turning up for weekday matinees and weekend midnight movies on network TV.
