...but believe me when I say that "Except for the budding migraine, I'm
doing great" is good news. I'm in an excellent mood, the day is lovely,
and I'm going home to my home in an hour. Life is good. How's your day?

(Now if I could get people to stop coming to work drenched in perfume and
making me ill, I'd be even happier.)

Amen to that. Fucking air polluters! Oy.

Hope your migraine goes away. So glad you are in good spirits

I'm doing quite well, thanks. My budding headache is not a migraine, but it's prickly and will force me to get off this computer for a while.

I've just invoiced my April hours, and the total is 1/3 of what I need it to be, but I'm happy anyway. A few months ago I was making 1/3 of what I needed to make, working 3 times as many hours and not having any fun. This is progress.

I have the bestest office in the world. I just talked a user through a simple problem on the phone, then grabbed the binoculars and got a closer look at a working boat with a crane and a mini-bulldozer on it going past my window.

I had a great visit with my therapist today, that makes two in a row where I haven't been a puddle of tears. My emotional state has taken a sharp turn for the better and I'm very very happy about this.

It's sunny outside and I just read that May is masturbation month. What could be better?

Happy May Day!

yesterday i was sitting in a cafe minding my own business, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper, when someone came and sat three tables away and their cologne was stronger than most peoples' would be if they were standing right next to me (not that that would be great, either, but still, geez!).

i had to leave immediately.

ugh - why do people apparently start their mornings showering in synthetic fragrances??

After a bit of a stressful day

I really did love my drive home hwy 4 is basically a dirt road they decided to make into a hwy. So there is always beautiful or funny things you catch on the drive. Like tonight there was a little boy about 5 with his mom walking on the side of the road. He was so cute in his too big hat back pack and walking stick. Also with all this rain and now the sun there is a yellow flowering bush that is going NUTS to the point I could barely see the back of the cattle in the fields tonight. Only bad part is we hit 90 today May 1st and it is 90 already this can not be a good thing.

Backlash from the oh-so-delayed Spring.

I can't wait for the Russian River to warm up enough to swim in the evenings.

So far my day's been short and weird. Not in a bad way, per se. Just in a weird way.
