I should repeat what I said (http://papersky.livejournal.com/190015.html?thread=1988415#t1988415) in papersky's journal about the freezer packs, putting in a new picture of one because the old link has gone bad --
-- because they really have made a big quality-of-life difference for me at such times.
It's supposed to get up to 72 today here. But we'll have heat by Saturday--predicted high 94. For here, that's *really* hot. At least it gets down into the high 50s at night, you can always cool your house off eventually.
Work was good for me temperature wise the A/C made things tolerable. But my house was 99 degrees when I got home. The A/C is just now getting things cool enough to be comfortable. This is gonna be a long HOT summer!
