My co-worker made fresh tamales and brought a few in.

Just a few.

I got one.

I am lucky happy Serene. And my tummy is even happier.

Tamales rule, especially as a social food. A few times a year, I have friends over and we roll a hundred or so.

Not very vegetarian, though - nothing you can do makes them really, really great unless you use lard. :(
