Jul. 20th, 2006 08:06 amBirthdays (and other holidays) aren't that big a deal to me per se, but they are little touchstones for me to think about the things that matter to me, and my number-geek brain likes keeping track of how long things have been going on, even if I don't really think that matters that much.
Anyway, my fellow geek-in-life has been in my life and my home for four birthdays now, and it just keeps getting easier and happier and more worthwhile to share everything with him. When we were already in love after a week of knowing each other, we wondered aloud if we were doing something completely crazy. It was a risk, but it turns out that loving him may be the sanest thing I've ever done.
Happy birthday,
someotherguy. I adore you with every cell in my body.
