So when I posted the 50 questions thing, I didn't think of myself as having a crush on anyone, but the more I think about it the more I realize that's not really true. Not sure if it's the hormones (I went off birth control pills a few weeks ago) or the time of year, or just that the crush-object is pretty neat.

Doesn't matter. I like the feeling, one way or the other.

Went off birth control whyfore? I don't suspect it's the having kids reason - is all well?

My doctor was dragging his feet on approving my next batch of pills. I suspect it's because he's old-school and thinks women need a pelvic every year to get Yasmin (they don't) and in the interim, while I was waiting for that and contemplating making a Planned Parenthood appointment, I realized that suddenly, my libido was back. I *like* my libido, and the one partner it's an issue with had already agreed to get a vasectomy, so I'm gonna stay off the pill and he's gonna get snipped (and until then, we'll use other birth control).

Very cool. I am not a fan of the pill for humans in general. Doesn't seem like a great thing. But sex drives are a great thing. Enjoy!

I was on the pill for 5 years in my 20's. When I went off it, I was shocked at how much it had been damping my libido. A libido which I had thought was just fine. And suddenly it was way higher!

Yes. I'm getting a fair bit of teasing about being a potential health risk now. ;-)
