dbubley & co. need me, and help sogwife finish (hope hope hope) the costume.
But first, the cast of characters for craft night tonight, in order of appearance:
someotherguy, substitute part-time snack wench. Not bad for a beginner.
sogwife, steadfast in the face of not one, but two broken machines. Should get a Best Aunt Ever award.
mackenzie, all kinds of adorable.
golden_c_turtle, who is a terrible person, a bad influence, and all that stuff. She gave me her cottage; I gave her my heart. We said in unison that I had gotten the better deal. She's such a hag.
firecat, generous with wood beads and as always a calming influence on me. Maybe she could teach golden_c_turtle how to behave better. Hm.
jwermont, who I really like (I really like all the other folks, too), and who I automatically think of when I think of Craft Night. I may be wrong, but I think she may not have ever missed one, not that there have been a ton of them.
Speaking of other Craft Nights, next one will be onNovember 6th, the day before election day November 13th, the second Monday in November. If you're local on that day, we'd love to see you.
