T'day wrapup
Nov. 23rd, 2006 10:34 pmIf you ever get the chance to eat one of
loracs's meals, seriously, bring your appetite.
We plowed away at the food, serious porking for all six of us, and virtually nothing was even halfway gone when we were done.
loracs is like my mom -- she cannot cook for less than an army, and everything is so yummy that you just keep eating and eating until you can't any more.
Yumma.
When we got home,
someotherguy,
sogwife, and I went for a walk. We saw police barricades, police cars (lots!) and news vans, so we knew something was up. Unfortunately, there was a multiple-murder at someone's Thanksgiving dinner. A family dispute, they say. I'm so sad for that family, and so grateful for my own low-drama one.
Talked to my mom today (we sang each other the Thanksgiving song, as we do every year) and played FFR with Munchkin The Elder. Talked with Munchkin The Younger for a little bit. Even got an email from my dad. Yeah, glad for the family I have.
(Taking my iron pills, and gonna be more careful about taking care of myself. Should feel better soon, and if not, I'll go get it checked out.)
