Sometimes I don't even read the username on posts on my friendslist, because my mind is "reading" the usericons to tell me who the post is from.

Well, klwalton has as one of her userpics a Chef icon, and it took me going "WTF???" for a second to realize that so does another friend on my list.

Freaky. That sure woke me up, though. :-)

I'm even worse -- I made an icon, and a friend liked it, so I gave it to her, and now when she posts, for a second I think it's me. ;-)

I like, on longer posts where the writer's usericon isn't immediately visible to me (my friendspage layout places it midway down the post on the left), to try to guess who's writing before I scroll down far enough that the icon becomes visible.
