1.) Where did you ring in 2006?
Here at home.

2.) What was your status by Valentine's Day?
Same as since 2004, involved with three different very sweet people. But Valentine's Day has never mattered a whole lot to me. It didn't when I was single and lonely, doesn't now. It's just not a holiday that's become a part of my set of important days.

3.) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
No.

4.) How did you earn your keep?
Some temp work, some copyediting, some contract admin stuff...

5.) Did you have to go to the hospital?
Yes. I cut my hand in September.

6.) Did you have any encounters with the police?
No, as is usual for my life.

7.) Where did you go on vacation?
I took a working vacation in Tokyo, and a "real" one for a couple of days in Portland, Oregon.

8.) What did you purchase that was over $500?
Nothing.

9.) Did you know anybody who got married?
mactavish, some co-workers, and a couple of LJ friends.

10.) Did you know anybody who passed away?
Not closely.

11.) Have you run into anybody you graduated high school with?
Nope.

12.) Did you move anywhere?
No.

13.) What sporting events did you go to?
None.

14.) What concerts/shows did you go to?
I think stonebender and I saw a play earlier in the year, but I don't remember exactly when.

15.) Are you registered to vote?
Yep.

16.) If so, did you do your patriotic duty on Nov. 7?
Yep.

17.) Where do you live now?
North Oakland, California.

18.) Describe your birthday.
My actual birthday was just like any other day. My party was later, and I went to stonebender's place stoned on codeine and had fun at the party loracs threw for me.

19.) What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2006?
TMI

20.) What is one thing you regret from this year?
I'd rather not say.

21.) What do you want for Christmas?
I have what I want, and I got gifts, to boot!

22.) Any new additions to your family?
Nope, though I'd bet on another one this year (my brother has 8 kids and may have more).

23.) What was your best month?
Choosing bests is really hard for me, and it's been a really hard year, so I'm gonna pass on this one.

24.) What from pop culture will you remember 2006 by?
Eh. *shrug* My brain doesn't really work that way.

25.) How do you plan to ring in 2007?

I kept reading that first question as "Where did you ring (in 2006)", rather than "Where did you (ring in) 2006". I kept thinking "Where did I what? ring? Ring who? What? This question makes no sense!"
