sereneWant some good news from me? Of COURSE you do! The first notice is the shortest, but the most important to me:
1) Mom doesn't have cancer (again)! Overactive lymph nodes; nothing to worry about; checkup in six months. We can breathe now.
2) Munchkin the Elder (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wtfpotatoes's older brother, who lives with my mom) has an appointment tomorrow with Job Corps to get his start date! Yay.
3)someotherguy and I (but mostly he, since he's home more than I am and has been Motivation Man(tm) these days) have been working our ASSES off, and our place is starting to be not just habitable, but kind of nice. The sofa is full of stuff to go out via Freecycle, but the floors are clean, the clutter is WAY reduced, one can open the cabinets without things falling out, etc. So nice.
