Picking an easy task sounds good. I sometimes jot down a list of tasks (in the office I have them on a whiteboard), and then ignore priorities and go for the easy ones instead. It feels good. Sometimes I end up doing only the easy ones, but then I will have accomplished something, which is better then nothing at all.
