Well, as a 52-year-old, I feel a bit uneasy about the boomer-bashing. But I do agree with all the comments about "work harder!" followed by, "no, wait - work less!"
I'm definitely in the second category and always have been. I'm not a high achiever, but I do work for a living, and aside from a few recent years of unemployment where I was close to bankruptcy, I've always managed to make a decent living. But I'm not ambitious, and the roses smell just great where I live. :)
Self-help gurus come in all age groups, btw. My generation didn't invent it, and we won't be the last to peddle the stuff.
My take
