sereneTotally forgot an appointment with a friend that I was really looking forward to today, and I am cringeing with self-reproach over it. I mean, I often cancel on people when I run out of energy, but I don't just *bail* on them. Bleah.

someotherguy has been a cleaning maniac*; I am awaking every day to a clean kitchen and a getting-close-to-really-clean house. Bread dough is rising; dinner is slow-cooking; IRS is being studiously ignored. Life is good.
*He was also being a cleaning maniac yesterday, when he accidentally dropped and broke a tub of homemade laundry soap on the floor. My homemade laundry soap looks like, well, spooge. He said "It looks like the aftermath of the worlds largest bukkake party." But he made lemonade from lemons and mopped our enormous linoleum floor with the stuff. The thing's never looked so good.
