My advice: don’t go to Tokyo in August. 100 degrees out, with 99% humidity, and mosquitos the size of Cadillacs. Still, it was a worthwhile trip (3 weeks) and the people of Tokyo amazed me with their grace and generosity.

LOL. I did exactly that many years ago, and even now the memory of the heat and the humidity is vivid. Thank heavens for cold, wet bandana draped around the back of our necks!

I'd go back to Japan any day. It is an amazing country.

I remember when you said you were going I asked a friend from work that is from Japan how it might be she said"oh my she is going to be very hot!" It sounded like you enjoyed yourself anyway so glad your got to go.
