701. What is your favorite mixed drink?

Anything fruity enough to obscure the taste of alcohol, which I dislike. Piña colada, daiquiri, etc.

702. When answering these questions are you often pulled in different directions, as if committing to one answer eliminates the possibility for all others?

Nope. I just Use More Words(tm).

703. Chicken Masala, Pasta Primavera, Veal Cutlet Parmesan or Linguini with Clam Sauce?

I've never had chicken masala (though I suspect the questioner might have meant marsala, but I haven't had that, either), and I don't eat veal. Either of the other two sounds fine.

704. If you were alone in your friend's house/room/apartment would you look in their drawers and notebooks?

No, but I would want to really badly.

705. What would you really like to do but you don't because you are afraid of getting caught?

I'd rather not say.

706. Of the following, which word best describes you:

responsible, spontaneous, tactful, uninhibited

I am responsible, somewhat spontaneous, and not especially inhibited. I don't have a tactful bone in my body.

707. Which band would you most likely check out?

The Smiths (indi-pop 80's-90's)
The Lords of Acid (acid/house/dance 90's)
Front 242 (80's-90's industrial/dance)

I like the Smiths, but I would listen to either of the others, too. Doubt I'd like 'em, but I'd 'check them out'.

708. How can one put an end to procrastination, as a bad habit?

I haven't put an end to it, so I don't know, but I've managed to overcome it enough to be functional as an adult, by reminding myself that difficult stuff makes me feel good when I get it done; by playing games with myself to get me to do things I don't want to (setting a timer, rewarding myself, etc.); by using a datebook so that I remember appointments; and by remembering that sometimes grown-ups just have to buckle down and do things they don't want to do.

709. What feature would you want on your car that is not currently offered?

Not currently *offered*? A free robot driver that takes me where I want to go, and fixes the car when it breaks.

710. What kind of poetry speaks to you?

Poetry in clear English that draws a parallel between the mundane and the universal, in language that's beautiful without being florid.

711. What is your favorite store that is open 24 hours?

The Longs of Delightment. We have the best Longs Drugs here. I love it.

712. Do you find that sleep is just so much sleepier when you are supposed to be doing something else?

I don't understand the question.

713. Do you also find that the books you chose are so much more luscious when you have a stack of actual assignments that you Should be reading?

Oh, sure.

714. If you have had the chance to compare the original 5000 Question Survey (http://opendiary.com/entrylist.asp?authorcode=A894446)to this edited version, what is your opinion?

I haven't seen the original, and yeesh, I don't need another 5000 to go through at the moment. I'm not even 20% finished with this one.

715. What's the most creative answer you can think of for 'what is black and white and red all over'?

I don't do creative. Some answers I've heard are "nun in a blender" and "penguin who just got stabbed", but I had sick friends in grade school.

716. Why do people slow down on the highway when they pass a police car pulling someone else over?

1) They are reminded that they are speeding, so they slow down. 2) They are curious in general about what's going on. 3) They are curious specifically about whether or not it's someone they know. 4) They're fucking MORONS. Drive, already! If it's your grandma, there's nothing you can do about it right now, and the 500 people behind you want to get to WORK, goddammit!

717. Are they afraid that the cop will STOP pulling over whoever he is pulling over and pull them over instead?

I don't think so.

718. It's daddy's birthday. What do you get him?

Games, puzzles, DVDs.

719. What's your 5,000 question survey nickname?

Look at the word next to the 2nd letter of your first name

Now take the first letter of your last name.

Put the two words together for your nickname.

Erotic Valor (or Anything but Valor, if I use my legal name)

720. You know that shaky feeling that you get when it's all coming to a climax, and everyone involved is breaking into the good kind of cold sweat, working as individuals and at the same time as a single force of energy, and it all meshes together, and for a brief moment, you're holding your breath and tingling all over, and after it's done you're on an explosive and dizzying high for the rest of the night?

What does that feeling come from?

Endorphins, probably.

721. How many of your teachers can you imagine drinking or doing drugs on the weekends?

Most of them. I'm an adult now, and I know that my teachers were just folks.

722. Do you like Alice in Wonderland or Through the Looking Glass?

I liked them both.

723. Write a question and answer it here.

If you could eat anything right now, what would it be?

Probably something with shellfish in it. I've got a bit of a craving.

724. Who is your favorite playwright?

Hmm. Probably Mamet, as much because of his singular voice as anything.

725. What movie has come out recently that you couldn’t have less interest in?

Knocked Up

726. What would the worst movie ever be about?

Most of the worst movies I've seen have been love stories, actually.

727. Do you like truffles?

Love 'em. had some interesting ones today.

Do you like Turkish delight?

Not sure I've had it.

728. Can you tell the difference between a transvestite and a real woman?

This question is ignorant and offensive. Pass.

729. What's funnier, plants or fire extinguishers?

Huh?

730. For question 720 did you write down sex?

You pervert, I was thinking of musical theater.

Har, har.

731. Which is better, leopard print or plaid?

Neither.
