The tummyaches are back. Hurts every time I eat -- maybe I'll try not eating for a while. :-( I will call the doctor in the morning if it's not better. Bleah.

In nicer news, I am enjoying other stuff about my life right now: I cooked all day, which makes me feel good, and [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy says he'll do the dinner dishes; there's another nice person on OKCupid who's fun to talk to; I've worked enough hours to make my nut already this month, and I have some more hours scheduled; and Munchkin The Younger is coming to town next week. Life is good.

Oh, hon. Yes, I think it's time to see the doctor.

I'm glad you're going to see someone about that tummy. Could it be all the stress you've been under lately has pitched it over the edge? Ulcers aren't caused by stress (by today's thinking) but they are aggravated by it. I hope you're better soon!

Thanks! So far today, no tummyache. (I ate carefully for breakfast.) We'll see how it goes.

We probably don't have the same tummyaches, because we don't have the same tummy (yours is cute, though!), but when I was going through a phase of being extremely reluctant to eat because I didn't know what would make things worse, I tended to get dehydrated which did make things worse.

Hot water with honey. Hot water with lemon. Hot water by itself. Cold water sipped slowly. Tea. Watermelon. Anything liquid that I could think of that wasn't either dairy or acid. As soon as I start hurting, now, I start ingesting those things until eating seems like a good idea, and that helps.

I just went through two weeks of tummy aches and it's been better since I chugged down a quart of kefir Tuesday night. Usually when I get like that probiotics do the trick, it just takes me a while to remember that.

Hope you feel better soon!

Yesterday, I did buy some kefir just in case. In general, dairy is a bit of a no-no for me. If the kefir doesn't work, I'll try quitting dairy and see if that helps.
