I've read at least one angsty article claiming that Guitar Hero will take away young people's desire to make real music, leading to the death of rock music.
Interesting hover-text observation about the lack of strum-bar clicking, too. I hadn't heard that about their controllers yet. I hear that you can actually use the Guitar Hero controllers with it, but I suppose that you'll always wind up with at least one Rock Band guitar in the mix, since it comes with one.
