Oh, good, a sex survey (gakked from someone who had it locked, so I'm not sayin' who, but I stole some of zir answers). I was wanting something mindless and fun to do.

[Edit: It's not all about sex. It's also about meat, sleeping, and other stuff. It's a strange mix of questions. But lots of 'em are about sex.]



1. Is there anyone on your friends list you would ever consider having sex with?
I can think of several off the top of my head, and if I like someone and they're not in my "sibling" brainspace (like lcohen is, for example), I probably would consider it if they seemed interested.

2. Sex in the morning, afternoon or night?
Depends, but afternoon and night seem the most convenient times. (And I *love* being awakened for sex.)

3. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
Depends. When it's just me and stonebender, he's on the left as you face the bed. When it's just me and someotherguy, I'm on the left. When it's me, someotherguy, and sogwife, she's on the left and I'm on the right, leaving poooor someotherguy in the middle. :-)

4. Pork, beef, or chicken?
Pork, I guess, but I'm not a huge meat eater.

5. Have you ever had to pull over on the side of the road to puke?
Oh, yeah. Once, I even didn't make it in time.

6. Have you ever taken your clothes off for money?
No, but I would.

7. Shower or bath?
I shower, but only because I don't have a bathtub. I love a nice, long bath.

8. Do you pee in the shower?
Almost never. What? Stop looking at me that way.

9. Mexican or Chinese?
Yes, please.

10. Are you dominant or passive in bed?
I don't think that question makes sense to me.

11. Do you love someone on your friends list?
MANY someones! I can think of a dozen without even cheating and looking.

12. Do you know all the people on your friends list?
No, but the majority of them.

13. Love or money?
Love.

14. Credit cards or cash?
Cash/debit (I don't have a credit card.)

15. Has there ever been anyone in your family you wish wasn't?
Yes. Yes. Yes.

16. Would you rather go camping or to a 5 star hotel?
To a hotel, but camping has its charm, too.

17. What is the weirdest place you have had sex?
Hmm. Redwood forest? On a roller coaster? In a church? At a public rest stop?

18. Would you shave your entire body (including your head) for money?
Sure!

19. Have you ever been to a strip club?
Nope.

20. Kissed someone of the same sex?
Yep!

21. Favorite drink?
Water.

22. Had sex in a movie theater?
Yep.

23. Had sex in a bathroom?
Yep.

24. Have you ever had sex at work?
I had phone sex at my old job in San Diego, and all the sex I have at home these days probably counts as sex at work, but other than that, I don't think so.

this is one of my favorite songs, and in fact, favorite albums, of all time. i used to sing this song and "jubilee" with griffin all the time. i haven't heard it in ages, thanks for the reminder.

I saw both her and Joan Baez in concert around the time that album came out. Joannie had recorded "Stones in the Road" (the single) a couple of years earlier, on a wonderful album called "Play Me Backwards". They both talked about being in a little gig band with Indigo Girls. The four of them apparently would go around to small clubs and play together. Anyway, apparently, one time they were all sitting around a fire, playing their guitars and sharing their works in progress, and Chapin started playing "Stones", and Joannie passed her a note that said "I MUST have that song!"

Also, Chapin told about how she'd actually met Baez when she was 9 at some small piano bar somewhere or something, and about how now she was living her dream and playing music with her. They were both so wonderful to hear, talking about each other with such love and admiration.

I don't think that question makes sense to me.

At some point I realized that these questions made a lot of sense... when I was in high school.
