In there is the core, the depth, the basic tenet of love that my mother instilled in me. There is this idea in there that generosity of spirit, excessive love, giving without scorekeeping -- that stuff doesn't cost me anything; rather, it enriches my life.
So I guess I need to say thank you, too, to
mommaduck, who still lives generosity as a fact of life, and who never runs out of love. My mother, who always says one should "give without remembering and receive without forgetting".
Thank you, mom. I love you.
Because sometimes I'm excessive. Because sometimes people should get Too Much as a way of knowing that there is enough. Because love is something I want to be generous with and not stingy.
