Some notes.

1) Home safe. Yay. Home at all, yay. Home home home. I'm home! If I was hermitty before I went, just watch me now.

2) Tomorrow begins a two-day heart-scan thingy for me. Maybe we'll figger out what's going on with my ticker.

3) Iron Man. Hm. Fun, but the more I think about it, the more I'm not sure I want my racism, xenophobia, sexism, and torture to be so fun. Y'know?

4) My three-year-old nephew's mom told him no about something, and he looked her right in the eye and said, "But I want to, so I have to, so I get to." Well, okay, then. (Um, NO.) This reminded me of rivka's kid saying "I'm going to cause something. Cause! Cause! Cause!" -- these two three-year-olds are gonna be trouble, I'm tellin' you.

5) I got to see ten of my thirteen niblings, my brother, my dad and his wife, and my darling mother this weekend. So glad to have done so.

It's fascinating to watch 3 year olds work with that language. Don't know if I told you the story of a friend's 3 year old who wanted our large inflatable exercise ball. When "I want it!" didn't work, she changed to "I need it!" I saw my nibling do something similar the other day when he didn't want to stop watching YouTube videos.

The "I'm going to cause something. Cause! Cause! Cause!" is now a favorite phrase at my work. People have been using that in the corp IM chats.
