The general consensus is that the stomach nasty that circulated through WisCon is a norovirus. Fast onset, passes within 24 hours (usually), but may be communicable for up to 3 days after symptoms disappear. Also, the bug can live on objects for up to 12 days, according to one source. I left WisCon Monday morning, and woke up with digestive troubles about 19 hours later.
A Wiscon attendee was at my place on Thursday night, and I started feeling ill Saturday afternoon. I'm all but positive it was food poisoning, but who knows.
