Walked about ten miles today. I'm not exaggerating [EDIT: But I am wrong. Google maps says about 8.2 miles total]. I will sleep REALLY well tonight, I'm guessing.
My regular forms of exercise are swimming and cycling, which I'd previously thought of as inherently "tougher" than walking, but I've recently done a lot more walking, and I've realized what great exercise that can be, too.
We generally walk 3-5 miles a day, because James has read a lot of research that says that moderate walks are as good for controlling his diabetes as more strenuous exercise, and that seems to be the case. But yesterday, I went for a four-mile walk to hand out burritos, and then he was in the mood for a long walk last night, so I said what the hell. :-)
