Well, the dark-chocolate custard (for the ice cream) is yummy and intense. Four more batches of chicken to fry. Peach custard is on its way. Laundry needs to be put away. Landlady and termite guy are due at 9, so we don't have the luxury of sleeping in, so I'm gonna crash as soon as I possibly can. Today's been fun. Would've been more fun if my new meds weren't making me so bone-tired (or maybe it was the heat), but still, fun.

How'd it go with the termite inpsection?

We've definitely got termites, but mostly in the exterior walls, so they're gonna be able to apply the pesticides to the outside, and we don't have to leave if we don't want. (We will anyway, because I'm really sensitive to scents and pesticides.) This won't be until August. Apparently, it's not a huge priority for her. Fine with me; I just wanted to make sure she knew we were seeing them.
