Instead of sitting in traffic, fighting for parking, and standing in line in the grocery store, you can take that time and play with your kids, read a book, cook a delicious healthy meal.
You can count on us. Since 1997 we've made over a million deliveries to Bay Area families.…

Good (and hilarious) points, Serene....but there is one aspect of home delivery of organic veggies that I've always enjoyed and that is that very special birthday-present kind of feeling I always got when I'd open the week's delivery. It always felt like someone was bringing gifts....but I'm kind of a freak that way.

Oh, I love that, too, and when I had the money, I got the weekly box mainly for the fun of it. :-) (Now, however, I have a teenager to feed, and no more income than I had before, so every dollar has to be squeezed until every last bit of value drips out of it. :-)

You have a teenager to feed??

Did one of your sibs come to live with you?

I'm so out of the loop. Apologies.

No apologies necessary. :-)

My sister's daughter is now my kid. She moved here three weeks ago, and will be staying with us until she's 18. (That's a year and a half away.)

Oh, my....and how lucky for you! I find myself deeply envious after having two teengurls here last week. We had the best time.

I really like her, and she's blossoming in a home where she doesn't get yelled at every minute of the day. She's a really great kid. Typical teenager in a lot of ways, and only a few of those ways are annoying. :-)

Yeah...well...she wouldn't be nearly as interesting if she were perfect.

Let me know if I can do anything for you guys, ok?

Thank you!

Oh, I think you'd like her. She's a wonderful visual artist. I have one of her paintings on my wall.

What do we do with some of that supposed extra time Planet Organics gave us?

We spend it cussing at how they messed up yet another simple order.

For a while it was more like the "Weekly Surprise Box"! :)

And a weekly surprise box is fine if that's what you signed up for.

One time, I got safeway delivery because I didn't feel like lugging a bunch of bottled water (for the burrito project) home. I made a fairly big order since I was ordering anyway. Guess what didn't come?

Yeah, we gave it up because it never did give us the four extra promised hours. We had to use them to go to the grocery store to pick up the stuff they failed to include in our order.
