Guess who has benefits?

I mean, guess who has really good benefits?

That'd be me and [livejournal.com profile] wtfpotatoes, as of today.

i'm planning to make a call to the company crow's working for after i look through the benefits folder they gave him when he hired on, to see if their blue cross policy covers domestic partners. *fingers crossed*

YAY.

Now begins the fun of convincing your insurance company that they actually have to pay out those benefits. :/

(don't mind me... I'm just furious because I have what are supposed to be "really good" benefits through Mr. E, and I may still have to end up paying $500 out of pocket for orthotics because they refuse to cover them because I'm not diabetic and in danger of losing my foot. Just, you know, not being able to walk without pain, but what do they care?)

Yup...we had to pay about $300 for orthotics for the DH last year (his knees are pretty bad, but would be regardless of his weight due to years of abuse playing football).

And I just shelled out $250 so that I could have a written copy of the psychologist's report on DS#1 and the results of all lof the tests.

That's great news and I really needed some good news today, ya know.

And thank you for dinner last night - it was fiery delicious! By the time I got home I was starving; it was so nice to warm up something tasty instead of grabbing the peanut butter before my bg's number went south.

Sorry you're having such a rough day!!

And you're welcome. I really like cooking for you, but I felt a little guilty because it made the Guido's respiratory system feel not great.

I am delighted for you both and simultaneously a little bit outraged that even *minors* have to have "benefits" for decent medical care. Clearly I have been living with the NHS just long enough (my mother used to make the food-or-medicine decision fairly often; I've never had to).
