A friend of mine, who is one of the best people in the world, is about to adopt a baby. I'm so happy for her I could cry. Yeah, that's why I'm crying. Let's go with that.

(But I am happy for her, I really am.)

Doesn't offend me. Much as I've always loved babies and wanted one, OPC (Other People's Children) are the best kind of all. ;-)
