Thanks so much to [livejournal.com profile] stonebender and [livejournal.com profile] loracs for a great game night! Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] dbubley, [livejournal.com profile] sogwife, [livejournal.com profile] wtfpotatoes, [livejournal.com profile] tiger_spot, [livejournal.com profile] andres_s_p_b, [livejournal.com profile] brooksmoses, [livejournal.com profile] chinders, J-who-may-not-be-on-LJ, R-who-may-not-be-on-LJ, and [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy, as well, for a great party. We just played the one game (Apples to Apples, which was fun, even with ten people playing), but there was a lot of talking and a lot of laughing, and I had a great time.

And now I should probably go crash out, but I'm more likely to goof off online for a while to decompress.

How was YOUR Friday night?

I had a pretty nice friday night. Boyfriend and I went to a movie, which we hadn't done in a while, with a friend of mine we haven't seen in a while. Then we went for a late night walk, got snacks at 7-11, and sat at the local water garden and ate and talked.

Well happy birthday here too!

I once was in a really huge game of Apples to Apples at a birthday party -- one person after another kept showing up and joining/jumping in.

[livejournal.com profile] broccolipwns and I have been getting various things ready for his birthday party tomorrow=today, including taping lots of candy all over the walls/furniture/etc.

I had to cancel plans for a girls'-night-in at a friend's house on account of still being germ-ridden and not wanting to spread it around to people I like. But I had a fairly pleasant evening nonetheless, with TV and pear cider and chocolate, leching over a sexy younger man with long hair and just a touch of eyeliner, mmmmmm nummy (Kyle Schmid in Blood Ties, to be exact).

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HUNNY!!!! *hugs you* Hope you have a lovely time today, and a great year to come!

The first game of Apples to Apples I ever played was a constantly shifting group of 15 to 25 people, give or take a few -- I don't think it hit 30, but it's been a while. Worked wonderfully.
