State of the serene

Just a few quick notes:
1) I am so busy that I'm not posting, and I guess that's a good thing. But I had a lovely two weeks of birthday goodness, and I love love love LOVE my job. I've been there two months now, and it just keeps being great, and they keep loving me, and I could keep writing this sentence on and on and on. :-)
2) The amount of stress that has been reduced by cutting out most of my work for the webcommerce company is huge. Sad, though, because I really love the company and the people (literally love them -- my co-workers are all family members). But I was poorly suited to the job, and I don't do well when I am bad at stuff. It sucks my soul out. So now I'm sticking to the part I'm good at, making 10% of what I was making there, and getting some of my soul back. :-)
3)
wtfpotatoes has been here fifteen weeks, and I love having her here. It's a BIG adjustment having three people here, but it gives me so much joy to give her a happy, stable home to live in. I wish she hadn't had to leave her home and her friends, but I'm glad I get to be here for her, and I'm glad to get this time with her.
