1) Seems I'm among many people whose weekend plans turned into "Oops, sick. Staying in bed." Ah, well. Glad I don't have to be at work early tomorrow.

2) mommaduck bought me this! I'll let you know tomorrow if it means I can now sleep through the night.

3) simplykimberly is a better source for pet-related cuteness than Cute Overload and LOLcats put together (youtube video; sound makes it MUCH cuter)

5) Looks like I'll have two weeks off from work, and wtfpotatoes will probably be visiting her parents for that time. I'm resisting any and all urges to make plans for that time beyond working on the magazine, puttering around my house, and having sex. Never thought I'd have any need to *plan* sex, but that was pre-teenager. :-)

Welcome to the joys of parenthood. :-) (Seriously, Little Bit has a positive gift for when her adults might actually be, oh, CUDDlING with each other much less anything else, and decides that the perfect time to sing/come in because something scared her/come in because something DIDN'T scare her/cuddle with her adults/fill in the blank.)

Well, at least I got out yesterday, but I was so ill today I never left the couch or bed until just over an hour ago. I hope you recover quickly hon.

1) Oh, you, too? I told my parents I'm not going to come visit them anymore (this is a lie) because the last two or three times I've gone to see them I've come back up with a cold. (This is only sort of a lie. I didn't get a cold when I was down for my birthday this year. Every other trip over the last three years? Cold.)

2) I made kick-ass chicken noodle soup on Thursday. It has kept my nose, er, open for the duration of the cold. Would offer to share recipe, but it's kinda imprecise.

3) The growlies totally make the video: Don't you touch my broccoli! Mine! Mine mine mine!

No particular commentary on 4-6 at this time, but that may change.
