I think I have a new girlfriend (calm down -- in the same way that Jonathan Coulton and the Numa guy are my boyfriends, you know): Vienna Teng. [Caution: If you have a heart at all, that song will make you cry, especially if you cried when Prop 8 passed.]

Vienna Teng is hit and miss for me. Even though I love her songwriting, as a singer with perfect pitch, I had some issues with the intonation problems on her first couple albums (especially on Waking Hour); I ended up only keeping a few tracks on my iPod. I think she's probably gotten better since then, but I haven't checked out her 2006 album. I should do that.
