Right at this moment, I have begun my first moment of real solitude in I don't know how long. The kid and stonebender are at Art & Soul watching Cake and missing MC Hammer (sadly -- the kid loves him). someotherguy and sogwife just left for a TMBG concert in Napa. And I? I am alone. Really alone, all by myself.

Bliss.

I may even stop typing and just sit and listen to the quiet for a little while.

Oh, Poo...I saw Cake but skedaddled as they went into "Short Skirt and a Long Jacket." (And will need to apologize to the people I was with, but I'm pretty sick of that song.) Didn't occur to me to check for Guy; didn't know he was a fan.

Hope your (10 minutes of) solitude was relaxing.

He and the kid both love Cake. The kid really wanted to see MC Hammer, too, but they were playing at the same time and she deferred to Guy's preference, and was happy to see Cake perform.
