Flippin' hot redux

sereneStill really hot here, and I had to leave the house and go to my oven of an office. But it was a good day anyway:
1) My boss explained that there's no need for me to freak out about not being caught up on filing when I'm trying to catch up after two months off from my regular job.
2) I got a lot of work done even though it was a fucking OVEN in there.
3) My mom's feeling better and I got to talk to my old friend, A, whom I've known since I was 14.
4) I had a nap and a no-cook dinner (sandwiches, cantaloupe, vegetable juice, ice cream sandwiches).
Today's pic:
