1. How long have you been together? Just over six years (stonebender: January 12; someotherguy: the last Tuesday in January)
2. How long did you know each other before you started dating? stonebender and I had known each other on the periphery for about five years, but we only started spending time together in email a few months before our first date. someotherguy and I talked in email for less than 24 hours before our first meeting, which wasn't *precisely* a date, but was certainly our "first date" in retrospect.
3. Who asked who out? stonebender: I guess I said that I was coming to the Bay Area, and did he want to show me around somewhere or something. someotherguy: He asked if there were any local atheist meetings. I said, yeah, there's something tomorrow, and I'll go if you do. :-)
4. How old are each of you? I'm 42. They're a little older, but I don't like giving other people's personal info out without their permission.
5. Whose siblings do you see the most? I see stonebender's sister tracytreefrog the most, but I talk to someotherguy's brother the most, because I technically work for him.
6. Do you have children together? No, but my niece lives with me and someotherguy.
7. What about pets? The teenager has a guinea pig.
8. Did you go to the same school? Nope. stonebender went to college in Illinois and Berkeley while I was in San Diego. someotherguy went to school in Santa Rosa.
9. Are you from the same town? Nope.
10. Who is the smartest? Probably someotherguy, but we haven't been tested or anything. ;-)
11. Who is the most sensitive? stonebender, I think, though I doubt I am impartial, and I may be more sensitive than he. I certainly wouldn't argue with that assertion.
12. Where do you eat out most as a couple? stonebender and I: Bowzer's pizza, probably. someotherguy and I, it depends on what counts as "eating out". Probably the Berkeley Bowl or Peet's, if non-restaurant eating out counts.
13. Where is the farthest place you have traveled as a couple? stonebender: San Diego. someotherguy: the Oregon border, though we weren't traveling as a couple at the time, we were a triad (with sogwife).
14. Who has the craziest exes? Hmm. Me, I guess, but I have many more exes than either of them has.
15. Who has the worst temper? stonebender definitely deals with more anger, though we're all pretty mellow in practice.
16. Who does most of the cooking? I do.
17. Who is more social? Wow. We're all pretty introverted. I guess I probably am more social than they are, but in my ideal world, I'd be around people about 10% as much as I am.
18. Who is the neat freak? None of us.
19. Who is more stubborn? Heh. We're all stubborn in our own ways, but stonebender seems to identify that way more.
20. Who hogs the bed? None of us, I guess.
21. Who wakes up earlier? Almost always me.
22. Where was your first date? stonebender and I walked around on a rainy day in Berkeley. someotherguy and I met for a really bad movie at the Atheist Coalition meeting in San Diego.
23. Who has the bigger family? We all have the same number of siblings (they're both firstborns), but my siblings have 13 kids among them, so I guess I win.
24. Do you get flowers often? Nope, nearly never, but I don't value them, so that's okay.
25. How do you spend the holidays? We're not really into the holidays.
26. Who is more jealous? I don't know. I guess it depends on the circumstance. We've had issues over the years where each of us has felt jealous, and for the most part, we've worked it out.
27. Who does the laundry? stonebender has help with his; someotherguy and I share doing ours.
28. Who is better with the computer? I'm probably the most fluent as a general end-user; someotherguy is the programming geek.
29. Who drives when you are together? I do.
30. Is your family still growing? The teenager probably has an inch or two left to go. We're not planning on having babies or anything, if that's what you mean.
