I love idleness. I love to sit and read or watch movies or just do nothing. I am almost never bored. This job has been such a godsend to my need for idleness. I can make enough in three or four days' work to keep on top of my bills for the week, and every week or two, the boss gives me a short week. Last week, she gave me Friday and Monday, and today she told me I don't have to come in tomorrow. I'd love to have the money, but having the day off is *such* a blessing to me that I can't work up any disappointment. Cute-poet-chick worries that I won't have enough money, but I'll tell you -- if it's a choice between a bit less money and working my ass off full-time, well, the choice is pretty easy for me.

Serene, This sounds really wonderful! I am envious of your finding this great balance. I'll try to emulate you, if I can find the reserve within myself. :)
